The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, has stepped down from his role with immediate effect.

The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, has resigned and stepped down from his role with immediate effect.

Ngelale said the decision was taken after significant consultations with his family over the past days as his medical situation had worsened.

He made this known in a statement issued on Saturday, adding that he has sent a memo to the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.

Ngelale explained that he has also stepped down as the Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action and Chairman of the Presidential Steering Committee on Project Evergreen.
