Benin Says it Has Thwarted a Planned Coup.

Per authorities in Benin Republic, another coup was set to take place on Friday, Sept. 27, but has now been thwarted, with key members of the alleged plot now arrested. Former sports minister Oswald Homeky and businessman Olivier Boko have been fingered as prominent figures in the attempt. Both were arrested earlier this week and state security says they’re rounding up more suspects.
